Teeth whitening procedure includes bleaching your teeth to make them lighter by removing stains by food, drinks, tobaco or smoking. It can't change a complete colour of teeth, but it may lighten the existing colour by several shades.

What does tooth whitening involve?

Hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide, penetrates enamel and oxidizes dark pigmented molecules within the hard tooth structure. As the active ingredient is broken down, oxygen gets into the enamel on the teeth and it literally bleaches the underlying tooth color to a whiter shade.

Is Teeth Whiteing Procedure painful?

You should not feel any pain during teeth whitening procedure if procedure is undertaken with proper care and precautions.
